We can search similar patents easily by a specified patent document.
Usage of similar Patent Search function is very simple. Now we search patents similar to United States patent granted 6234232. Please select "USP" from patent publication kind combo box and input "6234232" to input box. And click "Search Similar Patents" button.
We can select a similar field by "Abstract", "Claims", "Specification" and "Full Text". i.e. search patents which have a specified field (e.g. abstract) similar to the specified field of the inputted patent.
Then top 20 of the similar patents will be shown.
The similarity of the patents is not obvious. But the left side search result have the ranking of the similarity of the patents. For example, most similar patent of current search is USP6125904 except for USP6234232 (subject patent).
And you can analyze the search result by various function.
