To use the person dictionary in the Patent Search function, click the "PRSN DIC" button in the Advanced Patent Search.

Then the person dictionary window will be popup. The person dictionary called "[c]Microsoft Group" was created in "Create and edit person dictionary" is shown.

We can also edit the label of the assignee dictionary by double click the displayed label. Now we change the label "[c]Microsoft Group" to the "[c]Microsoft".

We can add the label "[c]Microsoft" to the search query by click the GREEN accept button.

  • We can conduct the same search by input the label "[c]Microsoft" manually.

If you search by the query, the assignee name "[c]Microsoft" is expanded to the registered names.
