- Person Dictionary Function
We can use the person dictionary function (so-called a grouping function, a screen function or a corporate tree function) in the upper right button of the patent integration main window. This function enables us to totalize plural assignee's patents in a patent map function.
By click the button, the person dictionary window will be opened. Now we will explain how to create and edit person dictionary. We will have the following wages by using the person dictionary function.
- We can systematically search and make up patents of a company which name was changed. (c.f. Matsushita Electric Industrial Co Ltd -> Panasonic Corporation)
- We can systematically search and make up a company groups by a label.
- The person dictionary function supports not only assignees but also inventors and attorneys. Then we can systematically manage sets of inventors and attorneys by a label. It is useful to trace the team of competitor inventor team.
The person dictionary function of our Patent Integration has an assistance function easy to create and edit person dictionary. So anyone can use person dictionary easily. And a file of the person dictionary can save as a other file of a project file. We can share the person dictionary by place the file of the person dictionary to a shared folder.
