Date Fields (Filling Date, Registered Date and Publication Date)
We explain how to set a column of filling date field as an example. The setting of registered date and publication date is the same.
We select the "Filling Date" as x-axis. And click "AUTOFILL" button. Then Patent Integration obtains range of filling date of subject population (search result). And set the range to the specified column. The following picture means all patents of the population are filled between January 1970 and January 2008.

And we can change plot range manually by clicking controls.

And we can change totalize term by TERM UNIT value manually. Default value of totalize term is set to one year. For example, we set totalize term as two year in the following picture.

Person Fields (Assignee, Inventor and Attorney)
We explain how to set a column of assignee field as an example. The setting of inventors and attorneys is the same.
We select the "Assignee" as x-axis. And click "AUTOFILL" button. Then Patent Integration search and show top 30 assignees from subject population.

We can easy to click the check-box to add or delete column. Of course, we can edit text input manually by keyboard etc…. And we can select top 10 assignees by clicking "TOP10" button easily.

If we want to change an order of assignees, we can change the order by edit column text field manually or drag and drop a assignee to other order. For example, we drag and drop "Canon Kabushiki Kaisha" to 4th order in the following picture.

- If you want to totalize across plural persons (grouping assignees, inventors and attorneys), see Patent map using person dictionary in Person Dictionary Function.
Classification Fields
We explain how to set a column of IPC8 (International Patent Classification 8) field as an example. The setting of USClass is the same.
We select the "IPC8" as x-axis. And click "AUTOFILL" button. Then Patent Integration search and show top 30 classifications from subject population.

We can easy to click the check-box to add or delete column. Of course, we can edit text input manually by keyboard etc…. And we can select top 10 classifications by clicking "TOP10" button easily.

And we can select any layer of the classification (section, class, subclass, main group, sub group). If we change classification layer, please click "AUTOFILL" button.

Sometimes we want to show specified patent classification. For example we want to show classification beginning from "H01". We can do it by input letters "H01" to the right box of layer combo box. And click "AUTOFILL" button.

Then we can add these classifications to the column easily.
